Wolf of Wall Street.
I must say that Martin Scorsese, as well as Leonardo
DiCaprio have exceeded their own brilliance, yet again. After The Departed,
Shutter Island, The Aviator and Gangs of New York, these two deliver yet
another masterpiece. This movie is a true story based on the life of
stockbroker Jordan Belfort, who was involved in securities fraud on Wall Street
in the 90s running into millions of dollars. He led people into purchasing
penny stocks, which gave a huge commission to the brokers and was thus called
The Wolf of Wall Street.
DiCaprio plays Jordan Belfort, the young, and talented
stockbroker, who aspires to climb the financial ladder as fast as he can, along
with his accomplices, majorly Donnie Azoff [Jonah Hill] – whose hilarious

At 3 hours dot, it is a tad bit too long, but the
charismatic performance of DiCaprio, coupled with laudable performances of
Hill, and Naomi Lapaglia - Margot keep us engrossed throughout the movie. Was
any other movie made for this long duration, half of the audience would have
walked out early.
A must watch for all lovers of drama, black comedy and those
interested in the stock exchange and the extravagant lifestyle.
